
“Envisioning Tomorrow’s Earth” at 2020 AAAS Annual Meeting

The 2020 AAAS Annual Meeting will be held in Seattle, WA from February 13-16, 2020.
This conference is one of the most widely recognized scientific gatherings in the world, with networking opportunities and significant national and international media coverage. It attracts growing segments of scientists, engineers, educators, and policymakers who are interested in recent advances in their fields, interdisciplinary connections, and how science and technology influence our lives.
The theme for the 2020 meeting is “Envisioning Tomorrow’s Earth”. This Annual Meeting will feature the scientific community’s current understanding of the world and life on it, and its brave experimentation with forward-thinking visions to help solve many pressing problems. Here are ways to get involved with the Annual Meeting:
- Submit a proposal for symposia, Flash Talks, and Career Workshops at scim.ag/2XQQjHl. The deadline for submissions is April 18, 2019.
- Review session proposals by signing up at scim.ag/2T2ElqE. Reviewers must have doctorates, and the reviewing period will occur in May.
- Submit an E-Poster for the Student Competition. The portal will open in July, and information will be posted on aaas.org/meetings.
- Judge the E-Poster Competition at the Annual Meeting. Judges must have doctorates, and expressions of interest will be accepted in autumn.
Attending the AAAS Annual Meeting offers the chance to gain access to thousands of multidisciplinary attendees from the scientific community, as well as decision makers, STEM advocates, and students.
