Výběrová řízení
Ústav živočišné fyziologie a genetiky AV ČR, v. v. i. vyhlašuje v souladu se zákonem č. 283/1992 Sb. o Akademii věd České republiky, ve znění zákona č. 420/2005 Sb. a Stanov AV ČR výběrové řízení na pozici Head of Laboratory of DNA integrity.
Požadavky: We are looking for candidates for the position of Head of Laboratory of DNA integrity, focused on the study of genome integrity in mammalian oocytes and zygotes using quantitative fluorescence imaging techniques on fixed and living cells. Laboratory of DNA integrity is a part of the Research Center PIGMOD, dedicated to development and use of biomedical models of human diseases. While the new laboratory head is expected to develop original research program, he/she is also expected to closely cooperate with other PIGMOD laboratories and support the main PIGMOD objectives.
Requirements: • PhD. in biological, medical or biochemical fields • 5 years of documented research experience in Cell and Developmental Biology • Advanced knowledge and previous practical experience with confocal/light-sheet microscopy of live mammalian oocytes and zygotes • The author of publications focused on genome integrity in mammalian oocytes or other mammalian cells in prestigious international journals • Significant international scientific experience (e.g. cooperation with foreign authors, which resulted in joint publications). • Experience with transgenesis in large animal models appreciated
Eligibility: • The eligibility requirements for the leading position is experienced PhD in biological, medical or biochemical fields and research experience in Cell and Developmental Biology. • Please ensure that you qualify before applying, as ineligible candidates cannot be considered.

Stage 1 results will be announced by 20 June 2021. Stage 2: Short-listed candidates will be invited for interview with the selection committee at the Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics (including on-line session). Successful candidate will be expected to take up his/her position between 1st of September and 31st of December 2021.
