International contest - FALLING WALLS LAB

Be part of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic on 16 May 2018. Present your research project, business plan or social initiative in just 3 minutes!

Are you a student, scientist or start-up founder? Do you have a breathtaking idea you want to share with the world in 3 Minutes? Apply for the international Falling Walls Lab Competition and win a trip to Berlin and an opportunity to participate in the Falling Walls Finale in Berlin! The Czech national round of Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic will be held on May 16 in the VIDA! Science Center in Brno.

The Falling Walls Lab is an interdisciplinary format developed by the Falling Walls Foundation in Berlin to showcase the next generation of excellent researchers. In their 3-minute talks, outstanding talents and innovative thinkers share their research projects, business models and social initiatives with an interdisciplinary audience and jury. Academic institutions worldwide are invited to organize their own Falling Walls Labs and to send the winner of the competition to the Falling Walls Lab Finale on 8 November 2018 in Berlin.

In the Czech Republic the competition is organized by the CEITEC research center in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Embassy in Prague.
