Grant program of the American Office of Naval Research Global

We would like to take the opportunity to inform you about the grant program of the American Office of Naval Research Global (ONR Global) that seeks proposals focused on high risk/high reward fundamental research being conducted by Ukrainian researchers and their collaborators.
Since the grant is a seed fund, the ONR Global is looking for early-stage research ideas relevant to the technology areas of interest to ONR Global. The ONR Global may award one grant or multiple grants. The number of grants and amounts of funding for each grant will depend on the proposals submitted.
Potential Technical Disciplines:
- Physics, especially Quantum (including theoretical)
- Quantum optics / Quantum sensing
- Biological Sciences/Technology / Earth science
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Signal processing
- Synthetic biology
- Power and energy
- Sensors and sense-making
The initial research abstracts will be sent to the e-mail address: rihova@kav.cas.cz (Ms Markéta Říhová, Division of International Cooperation, CAS).
The deadline for submission of the initial research abstracts is 5 August 2022.
