Multilateral cooperation of the Czech Academy of Sciences

The Czech Academy of Sciences and its institutes develop multilateral cooperation with both European and non-European countries. The OMS-ERA section at the CAS Head Office directly administers the participation of the CAS in activities such as ERA-NET Cofund (NORFACE, HERA) and other multilateral platforms (EIG CONCERT-Japan, SEA-Europe JFS, EU-KOR Community).

Proposals for three-year projects under the announced calls for proposal can be submitted by international consortia consisting of at least three scientific teams from the countries involved in the call. Each partner organisation only covers the costs of the national part of the successful projects. Partners from countries or institutions other than the participating countries may also be part of the project consortium, under the condition that they are able to secure funding for their participation in the project. The conditions of financial support for projects are governed by the national rules of the individual partners involved.

Only researchers affiliated with the CAS institutes are eligible to participate in ERA-NETs and other multilateral platforms listed above.
