Czech-Israel Workshop 2022 - “Law between State and History”
06. 05. 2022
On behalf of the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Prof. Eva Zažímalová, we would like to inform you about the Czech-Israeli biennial workshop, for which this year the theme of "Law between State and History" has been chosen. The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Israel Academy of Science and Humanities (IASH) and will take place on 25 and 26 May 2022 at Villa Lanna, V Sadech 1/1, 160 00 Prague 6.
The central theme of this interdisciplinary conference will be transformation. Speakers from various social science disciplines will discuss the various forms of transformation of society, the role of nation-states and the crisis of ideas on which the idea of liberal democracy is based.
The Israeli delegation includes among the others the former IASH President Prof. Nili Cohen or the former Israeli Minister of Justice Prof. Daniel Friedmann, from the Czech side, for example, the former Czech Ambassador to France Prof. Petr Drulák.
