MIT-Czech Republic Seed Fund - Call and Info Session
Following the cooperation between the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) within the MIT-Czech Republic Seed Fund, a call for joint project proposals is open from 13 September to 13 December 2022. The call is open to all scientific disciplines.
Project proposals can be submitted here.
At the same time, an online info session on the MIT-Czech Republic Seed Fund (invitation here) is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2022, at 16:00 CET (10:00 EDT). The meeting is intended for interested researchers from MIT, CAS research institutes and all universities in the Czech Republic.
If you wish to participate, please register for the online session here.
The program was established in collaboration between MIT, the CAS, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS, and its subsidiary, IOCB TECH. Now it is funded by the IOCB TECH Endowment Fund, which will contribute 200.000 USD over the next two years. The funds will be distributed among three to five new collaborations and can cover travel and accommodation costs associated with working meetings and research internships. Successful applicants will be chosen by April 2023, and the first trips will be possible in June 2023.
