
Call for Scientists - IAP Survey on Combatting Academic Predatory Journals and Conferences

The survey is part of important initiative led by the world's science academies to understand the extent and impact of "predatory" academic journals and conferences and help combat them.
The survey is available in seven different languages: Arabic, English, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish and the deadline for response is 31 December 2020. It will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
All researchers, in any discipline, in any country, at any stage of their career, are invited to participate in the study through the survey. All responses are anonymous.

The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Radomír Pánek started his first term of office in March 2025. He is a prominent Czech scientist specializing in plasma physics and nuclear fusion.
