Public Consultation on European Institute of Innovation and Technology

04. 09. 2026

In the upcoming period 2028-2034, the Regulation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and the Strategic Innovation Agenda of the EIT will be revised.

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the EIT. For the future period, it is asking relevant participants in EIT projects and the general public for their suggestions on how the EIT's activities and experiences should continue, what is (not) working in the current period and what should (not) continue in the coming years.

The EIT documents (the Regulation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and a decision setting out the strategic innovation agenda of the EIT for the period 2028-2034) will be revised using public input.

A Public consultation in the form of "a call for evidence" is going until 23 September 2026.
