Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Climatology.

Requirements: 

• Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences, geophysics, physical geography, or other relevant disciplines, received in 2019 or later
• Documented publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as R or Python
• Experience with atmospheric circulation classifications
• Active knowledge of the English language

Job description:

• Development of a methodology for sliding classifications
• Applications of sliding classifications to real-world data
