Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position PhD student in the Department of Space Physics.
Requirements:
- MSc in space physics, geophysics, astronomy, planetary sciences or related disciplines
- Demonstrated publication activity
- Active knowledge of the English language
- Computer programming and data analysis skills
The subject of the thesis will be:
- Propagation properties of whistler-mode waves in the magnetosphere and their effects on wave-particle interactions
