Part time postdoctoral position in animal genetics and ecology
The Laboratory of Non-mendelian evolution is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral position to join our team. We investigate how changes in reproductive mode impact on genome evolution, phenotypes and, ultimately, the formation of new species. Our particular focus is to understand how cis- and trans- regulatory interactions between genes and subgenomes in hybrids relate to thier reproduction and performance.

Requirements:
- Ph.D. in zoology
- at least 3 years of practice in genetics research of aquatic fauna namely fish and zooplancton
- ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
- proactive approach to solving problems and driving projects forward
- fluent English (spoken and written)
Conditions:
- half year contract with 4 hours per week
