ACADEMIA DELLE SCIENZE DI TORINO will award the "Angiola Gili and Cataldo Agostinelli International Prize"
"The Gili and Cataldo Agostinelli International Prize" – is awarded to a scientist who has achieved distinction in the field of Applied or Theoretical Mechanics or Classic Mathematical Physics during the last ten years.
Amounting to € 10.000.
Deadline: 31. 3. 2021
Proposals must be submitted only by the Academy´s president.
Applications must be accompanied by an exhaustive explanation of the reasons for the candidate´s proposal and by a short curriculum vitae, together with a list of the most important publications and must be sent in digital format to the e-mail addressu:

The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Radomír Pánek started his first term of office in March 2025. He is a prominent Czech scientist specializing in plasma physics and nuclear fusion.
