Researchers at Risk Fellowship – 3rd Call (2026–2028)

The Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) is announcing a call for the "Researchers at Risk Fellowship" programme from 19 January to 23 March 2026. The programme aims to support researchers' scientific work which is at risk due to threats of war, persecution, natural disasters, and other life-threatening dangers they may face. The RISK Programme enables them to temporarily continue their research in a safe environment at the CAS institutes in the Czech Republic for a maximum of 24 months.

The proposal is exclusively submitted by individual CAS institutes via the KIS online application (OMS module): https://kis.avcr.cz/kis2/oms. The generated application in PDF format from the KIS application must be sent to the CAS data mailbox (ID fr6adt5) by the stated deadline (23 March 2026).
