
Taiwan: Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Forum

Taiwan semiconductor industry has recently gained attention globally due to the role of critical supply chains and clusters. During this online event, there will be four keynotes and three different subjects of speeches arranged to share the experiences of the Taiwan semiconductor sector. And it´s believed potential participants will be able to explore business cooperation opportunities and strengthen the connection in future technology development of the semiconductor industry.
The webinar objective is to provide participants with comprehensive overviews including:
- The fundamentals of semiconductor design and manufacturing
- The development of silicon Ips and business models with IP portfolio
- The market trend for semiconductor applications and the product strategy and development
- The arrangement of virtual online visits to leading research laboratories and companies

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
