prof. PhDr. PaedDr. Jindřich Vybíral, DSc.

Prof. Jindřich Vybíral is a historian of art and architecture. He primarily focuses on the history of Czech and Austrian architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries. His main publications include Junge Meister.Architekten aus der Schule Otto Wagners in Mähren und Schlesien (Wien 2007); Friedrich Ohmann. Die Entdeckung des Barocks und die Anfänge der modernen Architektur in Böhmen, (Praha 2013); Leopold Bauer. Häretiker der modernen Architektur (Basel 2018).

He is the Rector of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.

He has published over 400 scientific articles and essays and is the author of several highly acclaimed monographs.
