Selection Procedures
Institute of Physics of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Ph.D. Student in Biophysics, Chemical and Macromolecular Physics Laboratory of Functional Biointerfaces.
The research of the Laboratory of Functional Biointerfaces, led by Dr. Hana Lísalová, focuses on cutting-edge topics in experimental and theoretical biophysics, including surface-mediated biomolecular interactions, antifouling biointerfaces, advanced biosensing technologies, and cell–material interactions in complex biological environments.
What you will do
A Ph.D. position is available through a collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics
and Physics, Charles University, in the field of biophysics, chemical and macromolecular physics at the Institute of Physics.

- Pursuing a degree in cell biology, biochemistry, biology, or a related discipline (junior or senior standing)
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
