
Networking events of the CZEXPATS in Science

CZEXPATS in Science is helping and supporting scientists fleeing Ukraine to the Czech Republic since the beginning of the war. They are engaged in several activities in this area.
One of these activities is individual assistance to Ukrainian scientists in finding adequate jobs, as well as the Buddy program. The Ukrainian scientists who would like to find a Buddy may apply or volunteers living in the Czech Republic who would like to help Ukrainian researchers.
Other activities of CZEXPATS in Science are networking events. The next events will take place on June 21, 2022 (Brno) and June 23, 2022 (Prague). Registration is required for these events. For more information, please see the fliers.
Events are organized for Ukrainian researchers in the Czech Republic. Czech researchers are also welcome at these meetings.
Networking at Brno will take place on June 21, 2022. The address: CEITEC, Atrium, Kamenice 5, Brno-Bohunice.
Networking at Prague will take place on June 23, 2022. The address: Bakala Foundation Student Hub, 4th floor, Tržiště 13, Prague 1.

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
