L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science

In the Czech Republic, a 15th year of the program L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program has been launched. The program is run in cooperation with the Czech Commission of UNESCO and with the Czech Academy of Sciences.

In 2021 the award will be 600,000 CZK and split among 3 talented female scientists. The amount can be used by scientists freely, whether for direct or indirect career development. On top of the financial support, the winners have access to media training and media coverage that will help them to build their network but also will inspire young girls to choose a scientific career.

Applications can be submitted by female Czech scientists (or foreign nationality but demonstrably working in Czech science respectively doing research in an institution in Czech republic at least 1 year) doing research in Czech Republic younger than 40 years old from 7th December 2020 to 28th February 2021 using platform www.forwomeninscience.com where all criteria for admission can be found. Don't hesitate and send your application, because the world needs science and science needs women.
