EASAC call for nomination of a peer reviewer

EASAC has launched a call for nominations of a peer reviewer for the draft report produced by the working group “Neonicotinoids and Integrated Pest Management”.
The expert should focus on one of the following topics:
- neonicotinoid insecticides,
- sustainable use of pesticides,
- role and practice of Integrated Pest Management,
- risk assessment of pesticides.
Nomination of expert should be accompanied by a CV along with a brief letter of recommendation signed by the director of the Institute of the CAS and sent to e-mail: samalova@kav.cas.cz till October 11, 2022 (all in English). The call is addressed to employees of the Institutes of the CAS.

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
