Czexpats in Science: Summer Meet-Up 2022 - New Beginnings
30. 06. 2022
Czexpats in Science invite you to a networking event for researchers and everybody interested in science. Come and meet scientists from different backgrounds to share research and personal experiences with new beginnings in a foreign country. Open to all nationalities, disciplines and career phases.
The topic 'New Beginnings' refers to experiences associated with moving to a new country, returning back after many years, or starting afresh after covid. Prof. Jakub Abramson from Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel will give a keynote lecture on the topic 'New Beginnings'. It will be followed by a panel discussion with panelists who have various experiences with moving abroad, starting again, or establishing a research group to name a few. You will also have a chance to learn details about 'Buddy program' for researchers from Ukraine. The main aim of the event is to provide opportunity for the community to meet in person.
30. 8. from 13:00 in Vila Lanna (V Sadech 1, Praha 6)
With any questions about the event please contact Ms Julie Kovářová.
