Czech-French Mentoring Programme Supporting Women in Nuclear Sector

05. 10. 2026

Applications are now open for a mentoring program organized by the Czech and French governments. The program offers women working in the nuclear sector the opportunity to receive personalized support and access an international network of contacts over the course of one year through a mentor-mentee relationship. It also includes visits to the Czech Republic and France, with a strong emphasis on personal and professional growth.

Participation is possible in two ways:

  • Mentee

For women with 3 to 8 years of experience in the nuclear sector (including time spent studying). You will be paired with a French mentor for regular communication, attend conferences and workshops, and travel to Paris and Prague for two meetings involving all pairs.

  • Mentor

For women or men with an established career in the nuclear sector who are willing to share their experience, support the next generation, and build an international network. You will be paired with a French participant for regular communication, attend conferences, and travel to Paris and Prague for two meetings involving all pairs.

  • The mentoring program runs from November 2026 to June 2027;
  • Communication takes place in English;
  • Participation is free of charge; employers are asked to cover travel and accommodation costs for the two planned visits—to Paris (in March) and Prague (in May).

You can apply until November 2, 2026, via this link.

The program is supported by the French Directorate General for Energy and Climate (DGEC), the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Women in Nuclear.
