
A visiting opportunity for PhD students - Taiwan Tech PhD visiting Plus+

Taiwan Tech (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology) is an international applied research university, located in the heart of Taipei City. This institution is proud of their research achievements and of their highly diverse student body and faculty. To further promote the internationalization of Taiwan Tech, they would like to invite doctoral candidates from all over the world to join their new Taiwan Tech PhD Visiting Plus+ Program. This scheme targets aspiring young academics who wish to gain teaching experience in an international environment.
This position allows the applicant to continue working on their PhD project, connecting to their researchers in their fields while at the same time sharing their knowledge with aspiring students and getting to know the Taiwanese culture first-hand.

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
