
The 2nd PASIFIC Programme call: Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences

We are pleased to share with you the annoucement of the second call for applications for the PASIFIC Fellowship Programme run by the Polish Academy of Sciences and co-funded under the MSCA COFUND scheme. The PASIFIC fellows have been selected in two calls announced in 2021 - the first call took place from 15 March to 30 June 2021, the second call lasts from 15 September to 30 December 2021.
The main goal of the PASIFIC Programme is to enable 50 scientists (in total) of any nationality to spend two years at 69 institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. Each PASIFIC fellow will be granted a monthly allowance of approx. €2,500 net and, if applicable, an additional family allowance. In addition, PASIFIC fellows will be provided with a research budget of up to €60,000 per project.
Programme is intended for researchers with a doctoral degree or at least 4-year equivalent research experience who have spent in Poland max 12 months during the three years prior to the call´s deadline. Before applying for the PASIFIC Fellowship, you need to identify a suitable PAS institute and a prospective supervisor, who will commit to support your research.
