Taiwan: financial funds for companies and institutions from Central and Eastern Europe

The recent visit of the Taiwanese delegation to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania brought, among other things, the establishment of a credit and investment fund for companies and institutions from Central and Eastern European countries.

With this fund, Taiwan aims to strengthen cooperation mainly in the following sectors: semiconductors, biotechnology, aerospace, smart cities, financial technology, electric vehicles, laser optics, AI and smart engineering.

The following Czech companies, institutions and start-ups can submit their business plan/project:

• are interested in implementing their main business activities in Taiwan or in technological cooperation with Taiwanese companies,
• have already established or are planning to establish a branch in Taiwan,
• have established or plan to establish a joint venture with Taiwanese companies.
