10th annual Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic

On 15 September 2025, the National Technical Library in Prague will host the anniversary 10th annual Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition, which aims to connect the next generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breakthrough idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that breaks down all walls and barriers.

The presentations of the competitors will be in English in a "pitch-talk" format, which is no longer than three minutes. Whether the topic is computer science or medicine, economics or mechanical engineering, philosophy, robotics, chemistry, art, or agriculture – the competition is open to anyone who believes in their idea and can convince others of its value. Students of all levels, including Ph.D. and postdocs, are welcome to apply. Applications can be submitted via https://falling-walls.com/falling-walls-lab-czech-republic, the deadline for applications is 30 June 2025.

The winner of the national round will receive a €1,000 prize and will represent the Czech Republic at the global finale in Berlin, which is held annually on the eve of the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It will take place from 6 to 9 November 2025.
