Postdoctoral Research Fellow  position in the Department of Biological models

Job description

Postdoctoral fellow will participate mainly on the project aimed to the study of mechanisms which tumor microenvironment uses to compromise the patient’s immune system to block the anticancer immunity. Tumor microenvironment cooperates with host immune system on various levels which are either immunosuppressive or immunosupportive, unfortunately often in the same time. Detailed study of these mechanisms enables us to appropriately modulate the immune system for the application of immunotherapies, e.g. adoptive cell therapies, and consequently stop the spreading the cancer in organism.

Methods conducted at our Department include especially various in vitro models and partially in vivo experiments. Main in vitro studies consist of cell culturing, cell viability assays, PCR, western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy etc.

For more information about department and research projects please find out our website.
