International contest EU Lab 2021

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is organizing the EU Lab 2021 international contest, which can be entred by former DAAD scholarship holders from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The contest will take place on 3 June 2021 online via Teams.
The task of the participants is to present in Czech or Slovak within 3 minutes their original idea for the future of Europe on one of the listed topics:
European Green Deal, environment
Corona, social / economic recovery from the epidemic
EU, European values and democracy
EU, study and research without borders
Application must be submitted until 27 May 2021 to the e-mail address the info@daad.cz.
The aim of the EU Lab competition is to reflect on the challenges currently facing the European Union and respond to them through its own original idea.
The winner will be invited to a joint discussion at a DAAD Alumni meeting from across Europe in the spring of 2022, where he will be able to present his idea in German or English.

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
