Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Research Fellow in the Department of Polymers for Electronics and Photonics.
Job description:
The Department of Polymers for Electronics and Photonics develops new polymer and composite materials for electronic and optoelectronic active components. It is focused especially on organic photovoltaic cells, light-emitting diodes, electrical and optical sensors, field-effect transistors (FET) and memory devices for flexible printed electronics.
The job candidate will be responsible for the research in the area of ultrafast time-resolved optical spectroscopy and nonlinear optical properties of new organic and hybrid organic-inorganic materials and functional structures for organic electronics and photonics.

Requirements:
- PhD in physics specialized on optoelectronics or physical electronics, or in physical chemistry specialized on time-resolved optical spectroscopy,
- practical experience with lasers,
- active and creative approach to scientific and technical challenges,
- interest in learning new skills,
- ability to work both individually and in scientific team,
- good English communication skills (spoken and written),
- previous postdoctoral position or relevant publication record during the PhD study is an advantage
